CSE is Excited to Announce!

CSE is excited to add 5 new talented individuals to our department.  Jason Mars, Lingjia Tang, Scott Klemmer, Christine Alvarado and Shachar Lovett will be joining us this Fall.  Jason Mars received his PhD this year from the University of Virginia (thesis: Rethinking the Architecture of Warehouse-Scale Computers).  Lingjia Tang also received her PhD this year from the University of Virginia (thesis: Compilation to Mitigate Contention for QoS).  Associate Professor, Scott Klemmer will be joining us from Stanford University.  Scott received his PhD in 2004 from the University of California, Berkeley and is the co-director of the Human-Computer Interaction Group.  Associate Professor, Christine Alvarado is joining us from Harvey Mudd College.  Christine received her PhD in 2004 from MIT.  Shachar Lovett is joining us from the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton.  Shachar received his PhD in 2010 from the Weizman Institute.   Welcome everyone, we look forward to collaborating with you!
