Keys and Security
Obtaining Keys to Your Office/Lab
Keys are issued by Dave Wargo in CSE 1210. Keys are issued upon hire. Faculty, staff and graduate student office keys work on the lobby and stairwell doors. If you lose a key, please see Dave in CSE 1210 for a replacement. Cost for replacement of lost keys is $15.00/key. Dave's office is on the first floor in CSEHelp, down the hallway to the left of the elevators. Please ring the doorbell for service.
General Security
Because of the 24-hour undergraduate computer labs in our building basement, the CSE basement is accessible at all times. The main entry doors to the building are locked from 5pm to 6 am on weekends and at all times on weekends and holidays. ADA accessible doors and elevators are key cards are active from 6pm-6am. These access restrictions are not as secure as locking the entire building. Therefore, faculty, staff and students should remain diligent in ensuring that all CSE office, lab and common area doors are closed securely and locked when not in use, especially after regular work hours.
Keycard Locks
